Full Moon in Scorpio

Full Moon Scorpio

Welcome to the Full Moon in Scorpio which waxed at 8:58 PM, EST in the 12th house.  The Moon, representing the female archetype, our instincts, habit patterns, fears, loves, and desires, in the sign of Scorpio, feminine, fixed water.  Scorpio is stubborn, uh, I mean stability; it is the “I desire,” of the zodiac, ruled by Pluto, the ancient god of the netherworld, overseeing regenerative forces, beginnings, and endings in phases of life.  Scorpio is imaginative, passionate, emotional, intense, and often, unyielding to a fault.  With 12th house energies, the house of self-undoing and psychological issues, we look at what’s ending, and look TO what’s beginning for our hope for the future.   I was watching an episode of Ancient Aliens on Friday night, and it seems that a lot of things the government has held in the strictest of confidence and secrecy is suddenly coming to light with new de-classification rules that many people have been fighting for, for a long time. The matrix system of religion, government, and science, as well, are crumbling.  Religion is failing miserably at teaching it’s faithful, governments seem only interested in power and keeping it from it’s people, and the scientific community is too arrogant to see it’s failures – it’s the tower of babel, keeping all things confounded to keep the people ignorant and therefore controllable.  The more that comes out, the less people will be able to keep their proverbial heads in the sand about who and what we, and this planet are.  While I find the prospect exciting, some others could find it terrifying, and this Scorpio Full Moon leans on the side of empathy. A lot of people don’t like change, and go kicking and screaming into the night without looking to make sure they have a flashlight.

Aspecting this Full Moon is the opposition with the Sun, the conjunction with Jupiter, the sextile with Saturn, and the trine with Neptune.

The Sun represents the male archetype, our basic character, conscious personality, and our will.  In the sign of Taurus, the Sun is steady (which can also mean stubborn).  The Sun opens itself to things new despite being in the tug of war with the Moon and fighting for expression, but the Taurus Sun also finds time for patience, so if the applecart is upsetting for you, you’re in good company, and if you’re on the other side, get ready for a lot of work.

Jupiter is the planet of good luck and expansion, higher knowledge and prosperity, and is intensely unified with the Moon in this conjunction. Jupiter in Scorpio takes an all or nothing approach, so if change is coming, let’s overhaul the entire system…let’s throw caution to the wind and audit everything we think and believe and determine why, so we remain in balance, because you may need to be the flashlight for someone that fell off the cliff.  Jupiter in the first house may shine a light on your clear instincts and ability to be spontaneous, think quick on your feet and stay ahead of the rocks as they’re falling around you.

Saturn by contrast, is the planet of limitations and responsibilities, without which, we wouldn’t grow, and Capricorn is the home of Saturn so we get a full dose of Saturn’s self-discipline.  I look back at all of my studies into this and that, and how much work went into learning various systems, and traditions, and then to find out how simple, and easy things really work; I thought, what was all that for… why did I need to know all of that stuff – because there’s great value in learning to discipline oneself…there are no shortcuts – you have to learn the work in order to  appreciate it’s simplicity. Saturn in Capricorn teaches us the benefit of hard work, as nothing worth having comes too easy, and with 2nd house energies, we can learn to hold to what is essential.

Neptune is the planet of idealism, dreams, and intuitions.  Neptune is also at home in Pisces, as the spiritual and all things mystical are at the forefront of Neptune’s energies.  The trine with this Full Moon lend for great imagination, and creating a positive reality.

The north node remains in Leo so we still have the stigma of the burden of leadership, but with 9th house energies, the focus shifts to higher  cause in life. I like this show Lucifer, and there’s this character, Charlotte, who goes about behaving badly because she think because she has a friend who’s an angel, she has an inside way into heaven, and Amenadiehl, the angel has to tell her it doesn’t work like that – she can’t just go around doing whatever she wants thinking she can get away with it, and I’m thinking, how long did those in power think they could keep things going – like eventually, things were going to fall apart… people were eventually going to begin to question the who and the whys.. I did and I’m certainly not extraordinary – I may have gotten there a little earlier than some but certainly later than many.  One would think in the information age, it would have fallen apart a long time ago, but I find that one hand doesn’t really know what the other is doing.. Like I’m reading this book, pretty compelling book on how Stonehenge is the real biblical babel, with a valid purpose for it being built but no one seems to be paying attention and people still say they don’t know what it was done for… well why haven’t they read this book that gives details with mathematical proof on who, when, and why.  Why do we suppose a simple natal chart is able to give us so much information about our personalities, how does our numerology tell us so much about ourselves?  Is is random that the planets have the affect upon us that they do at the specific times they do?  Why does the Moon affect some the way it does based on when you were born, how does Pluto cause changes in our lives, how are we wired that such things are possible?  If the big bang theory happened the way they claim, how do the planets become specifically placed where they are; how can that be random?

Today in the Hebrew is the 15th of the month of Iyar.  Iyar is left column energy and is said to have the strongest ability to draw light, but the ability to draw light for self alone is symbolized by the oxen and leads down one path, as opposed to the desire to draw light for the benefit of sharing with others leads to the other. Just as Charlotte in the Lucifer show, Taurus often lives under the illusion that everything is great, but that allows the ability to achieve high levels of spiritual perception, wisdom and energy; is is what is then done with what is gleaned. Taurus likes to create its world to reflect a desire for stability, and consistency.

The Hebrew letter associated with the month of Iyar is the letter Vav.  The letter Vav represents the 16th Path on the tree of life and the Hierophant card in the Thoth Tarot.  The Hierophant is the ultimate spiritual mentor, he who is in a constant quest for knowledge and enlightenment.

The meaning of the letter vav is to add or secure something.  The first vav in the Torah appears “In the beginning Gods created the heavens (vav) and the earth,” which serves to join spirit and matter, heaven and earth, just as the human body does when our chakras are open – you are the connection between heaven and earth, the letter vav.

The letter vav is the Hierophant in the Thoth Tarot.

“This symbolism is further carried out in the oriel where, behind the phallic headdress, the rose of five petals is in blossom. The symbolism of the snake and dove refers to this verse of The Book of the Law— chap. I, verse 57; “there are love and love. There is the dove, and there is the serpent. 63”

The dove and the serpent, two aspects of the same concept.

“YHVH. He is the six of the divine macrocosmic consciousness to whom we must “nail” the five of our earthly microcosmic consciousness. He is the Prince Charming in the cosmic fairytale— our Holy Guardian Angel.”

The 16th Path connects Chokmah (wisdom 2) with Chesed (mercy 4) and connects the light from the upper triad with a sphere below the abyss.

The sphere of Chokmah represents reflection, meditation, intuition, and insights. It symbolizes the mirror in which God’s oneness reflects itself; hence the 1 plus 1 equals 2.  It has no planetary association.  The sphere of Chesed (mercy) is said to embody the archetype of compassion and unconditional love.  It is associated with Jupiter in our charts and shows where we are likely to enjoy benevolence and boundless opportunities.

In his book Scrying on the Tree of Life, Chic Cicero writes of the 16th path, the following:

The faculty of hearing is attributed to this path. This is inner hearing—the act of listening to the voice of the divine teacher within. Here, knowledge is given as a revelation, for the Path of Vav is one of initiation.

On this path we must learn to still the inner “chatter” of our minds and strain to distinguish that one true inner voice of wisdom. This means that we are to sharpen our faculty of listening whenever we engage in meditation and ritual work.

For any newcomers – we’ve moved into doing a guided meditation on the tree of life path associated with the energies of the day.  The guided meditation is taken from Chic Cicero’s Book Scrying on the Tree of Life with the corresponding solfeggio frequency tuning into the background.  The meditation is on the music stream.  If you don’t wish to participate in the guided meditation, that’s ok, I welcome you to sit back and listen to music I might suggest pulling up this Youtube stream with the solfeggio frequency itself.
